Franz Bakery Partners with The Food Bank

The Mukilteo Food Bank keeps its door open because of generous donations from caring individuals in our community, subsidies from government pass throughs, and ongoing donations of food from local businesses.

One such business that our food bank has had a years long relationship with is Franz Bakery in Lynnwood. This bakery outlet routinely gives us bread, rolls, buns, desserts, and bagels prior to our distribution cycles. Twice a month, volunteers drive to Lynnwood and pick up these crucial supplies that will be added to the grocery bags given out to our families.

Donated food, whether from a business such as Franz Bakery, or from local individuals means the food bank can stretch their dollars to purchase other items that might not donated such as cooking oil, rice, meat, and other items.

This week, Franz Bakery donated just under 600 pounds of bread stuffs, bringing their total to over 6,600 pounds given to the food bank in 2025.

In this season of giving, Franz Bakery has demonstrated kindness and compassion. We are so grateful for partnerships such as this.
